They recently acquired a new FBO in London Luton Airport. Located on the southern part of London Luton Airport the brand new facility has has been completely refurbished to the highest standard and enjoys direct access to the runway without the congestion that can occur on the airports other busy taxiways. Ocean Sky Jet Centre offers customs and immigration clearances, pleasant immaculately dressed staff and first class facilities they provide the ultimate in luxury travel. Chiltern Technology Ltd. worked with Ocean Sky to design a security system to monitor the site and protect against unauthorised access to “Air Side” . In the current climate there are very high restrictions on people in and around the airport. With direct access to “Airside” it is important that access is restricted to those who have been Security Cleared and have the correct level of authorisation. The installation of a pair of automatic gates formed a barrier between public access and “Airside” that can only be operated by authorised staff after a valid security pass has been shown with the correct security level. Chiltern Technology Ltd. recommended the installation of a Mobotix IP CCTV system. By using the latest technology in surveillance we were able to reduce the amount of cameras required and provide excellent image quality using 3 Mega Pixel technology A CCTV system assists with Health and Safety as well as Duty of Care for employees with automated and real time monitoring via IP. The cameras provide visual identification and verification of people and vehicles and record any unfortunate incidents that may occur as well as identifying unwanted visitors.
