We are raising money for our charities whilst having fun again this year...

05-03-2015

Last year we celebrated 20 years in business and to celebrate this anniversary & our success, we decided to give something back by taking part in the Rotary Club’s Dragon Boat Day in Abingdon. The event was so much fun and such a fundraising success for our charities, that now, in our 21st year we have decided to do it all over again!! We're getting as many members of our team together as we can, to take part in the Rotary Club's Dragon Boat Day in Abingdon on Sunday the 7th September 2014. We're raising money for the same two charities as last year - See Saw and Stroud Court Community Trust and one third of our sponsorship money will also go to the Rotary's Club of Abingdon Vesper's charity. The boat race is an annual event and we will be joining other local companies, charities and groups of friends who have all signed up to paddle the 40 foot long dragon boats in a series of races throughout the day. Whilst we know it is going to be a fun filled day, we’re also aware of how strenuous it is going to be, so please dig deep and help our team raise its target of £1000 for our chosen charities. See Saw is an Oxfordshire based charity that helps children and their families both before and after a major bereavement. Stroud Court Community Trust provides specialised accommodation, support and care for adults with autism. Both charities are desperate for funds and we hope to raise lots more money to support them, so please dig deep!! You can donate online via our JustGiving page or Text CLFS60 with your chosen amount to 70070 e.g. CLFS60 £10. Why not come along and support us on the day? With craft stalls, games, live music, refreshments, a BBQ and a fair, it promises to be a fun day out! Learn more now. Thank you all in advance. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your money is sent directly to the charity. It is the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
