27-01-2014

CCP has won two awards at this year's Concrete Society awards. The New Stratford Library at the University of East London received a Certificate of Excellence in the Building Category (Education) which featured CCP's straight and feature helical acid etched staircases. Hill Top House in Oxford fabricated from CCP's crosswall construction where the precast concrete is used as both the structure and the interior of the house was declared the 2013 overall winner. The judges commented that "this is an excellent use of precast concrete in a domestic application to produce a simplistic uncluttered construction, which highlights the benefits of concrete".
