Croystone Project: St Lawrance's Church - Effingham

On this project the church wanted us to install a disabled WC in what used to be the heating chamber. The chamber was a separate building and could not be entered from within the church. To join the two together an opening was built through the tower's one metre thick wall. The already existing heating chamber floor was taken away and lowered to the same height as that of the church. Memorials were removed from the walls and relocated to allow the stone entrance to be formed.
