Case Study: Kings Croft, Southminster, Essex

13-08-2014

Creating space where there was none. With a growing family, Mr and Mrs T needed more living space for their home in Southminster, Essex. The family wanted a new bespoke fitted kitchen installation, so a loft conversion was out of the question. They did not want to build a traditional extension as they wanted garden space for their children to play in. Their garage was detached from the house, so that was not an option for a fitted kitchen. DT Contracting suggested filling the gap between the house and the garage – space that was unused and unnecessary. The result is a bespoke fitted kitchen installation that also provides easy access to the garage from the house. Extra living space has also been created where the old kitchen used to be. Work undertaken included: - New foundation - Brickwork - Roofing - New plumbing system - Under-floor heating system - New bespoke fitted kitchen Mrs T said “DT Contracting helped to create space where I thought there was none. I’m absolutely delighted with my fitted kitchen. The builders were always polite and courteous. It was as clean as building work can be. They treated my home as if it was their own”
