"I used DT Contracting recently to perform a repair to a rear wall in my house that required ‘stitching’ with stainless steel rods. From the very first contact Dave Terry, the owner displayed complete professionalism. We had seen the high quality of his work from a full renovation that he had just completed on a neighbour’s house. When he surveyed our job, he checked the requirements carefully, studied and interpreted our surveyors report and suggested practical solutions in order to respond with a detailed and itemised quote. The combination of his reasonable and realistic quote and the complete confidence that we felt in him from seeing the way that he works made for an obvious decision to engage him for the repair. His expert and pragmatic advice was invaluable. When work started, as he progressed the job he discovered that some of the surveyors original requirements were not actually necessary and he took it upon himself to consult with the surveyor to agree what work was not actually needed. The result was that he completed the job in one day and avoided a significant amount of unnecessary disruption. In addition he left saying that he would be amending his quote to take account of the reduced specification. His pragmatism on our behalf, his honesty and trustworthiness has saved us a significant amount of money compared to some of the quotes that we had received for the job. We were so pleased the company that we have since used them to replace all our external doors and windows and we are planning more work.
