***EH Smith scoop another TWO awards*** EH Smith Builders Merchants are absolutely delighted to add another two awards to their awards cabinet, bringing their total to fifteen awards in the past seven years. On 23rd November the Builders Merchants News Awards for Excellence were held at the Lancaster Hotel in central London. The event, which is in its 11th year, was attended by over 500 guests and celebrated the very best initiatives, people and organisations from the builders merchant sector. Winners: Best Website – commending the new mobile website, making it easier for customers to gain instant access to EH Smith products and service on the go. Best Environmental Initiative – marking the significant range and expertise EH Smith has developed in sustainable materials and renewable energy. Finalists: Achiever of the Year – Greg Crofts, for the comprehensive health and safety standards he initiated, securing the RoSPA Gold Award for the fifth year running. Trainee of the Year – Wayne Farrugia, for his personal development and integration within the business.
