Esk Quarry was started in 2010 by a local businessman who could see the potential to deliver sand and aggregates to the local market.

Large quantities of sand are used in construction locally and by its very nature it is very heavy. By making this local resource available again carbon dioxide from haulage is being saved.

In these uneasy times Local jobs are being created working Esk Quarry and new related services are being added all the time.
