For estimating or an overview call us on 01519 330939 Cork is a composite board made up of bark and pressed granulated cork. In the wake of developing for a long time, the cork oak is sufficiently large enough to have the first layer of bark taken off. This "virgin cork" is so thin it couldn't be possible make wine stops, however we compress it for our boards. The boards are a standard size of 23.5 x 35.5 inches and around 1 to 2 inches thick. Cork has a high embellishing quality. Cork has an acoustic estimation of 0.42 which is a far superior result than one would get with 0.2 inches of felt. The boards work amazingly well in drowning the sounds from outside, similar to piano playing neighbors.
