Fitting Instructions for Window Film
You will need the following materials: 1 spray bottle filled with water and a few drops washing solution 1 razor blade window scraper 1 rubber squeegee 1 cutting knife 1 roll of paper towels Using the window scraper, the spray bottle of soapy water and the squeegee, clean the window pane thoroughly. Wipe the window frame with a paper towel. Using the cutting knife, cut a piece of film to a size 2 or 3 cm larger than the window pane. Use 2 pieces of scotch tape to help separate the film from the protective backing While pulling the film apart from its protective backing. Spray the film’s adhesive side generously with the soapy water mix. Turn the film around and apply its adhesive side to the window pane. Spray the film to allow the squeegee to slide easily over it. To attain maximum adherence, working from top to bottom of the film, scrape with the squeegee from the center towards the right and left edges. Trim the film to within 2mm of the edge of the window pane. The film should not touch the window frame. Squeegee again to smooth out any remaining air bubbles and water.Visit the JFK Window Film & Vinyl website for more information on Fitting Instructions for Window Film
