Barrow Hill House, Milborne Wick, Dorset

23-09-2014

Robert and Sarah Tizzard asked LLT to help with their House building project. They felled 2500 hoppus feet of oak and ash form there woodlands. The first and second length butts were cut into varying board thicknesses. These will be used in every part of the house from floor boards and skirting to furniture and doors. The trees were converted in our yard at Ditcheat where they were cut, air dried and kilned ready for the many applications. The third length butts were cut into boards that will be used for outdoor furniture and post and rail fencing.
