St Nicholas countdown to playtime

31-05-2014

The LazyLawn head office installation team have had a busy summer holiday season – topped off with a fab install at the local St Nicholas Primary School & Nursery in Cottesmore (Rutland, Home of LazyLawn no less). Artificial grass was used to revamp the nursery’s playground from being a drab lifeless plot of land to a fun play area containing a unique roadway for the children to race around in. Sarah, Head of school, went on to say “Our new outdoor area has complimented our children’s teaching programme and activities and creates a real wow factor for the Nursery.” The LazyLawn team took just over 3 days to completely rejuvenate the schools playground ready for the children to come back and enjoy. Using our state-of-the-art CAD cutting tables, the play area was completed with our road way kit (mix and match pieces which are then expertly assembled on site) to create a truly bespoke play space. The new outdoor nursery play area is due to be opened by Lazy Larry once the School year begins again in September. St Nicholas School designed their play space using the ‘PlayTime’ synthetic turf – a surface specifically designed to cope with the wear and tear of school playgrounds. PlayTime is a highly durable surface in all weathers and conditions, giving the children more opportunity to play outside all year round.
