Listed building survey

This survey was completed as a trial to see if sufficient building detail could be achieved through scanning and digital photography to help the production of a virtual tour of the historic site and the creation of supporting CAD drawings. We used a Riegl LMS Z620 to carry out the scanning and a calibrated Nikon DX2 Digital SLR camera for the photography. We were able to pick up the finest detail of the building at great speed, without the need to actually go anywhere near the subject, and therefore avoiding any potential damage to the site or injury.
