How safe are the locks used on Origin’s doors?

The traditionally weak areas for doors are the cylinder/locking barrel and the handle. UK crime statistics illustrate that 27% of burglaries involve lock snapping. However, this is the same on all doors (bi-folding and traditional) as many doors use weak cylinders, which allow burglars to bump, drill or snap the cylinder to gain entry. Origin doors are Pas 23 and Pas 24 accredited, meaning that they exceed security recommendations and testing. This is achieved by using a combination of features such as a tough Magnum lock cylinder, a unique eight point locking system (a minimum of a five point locking system is usually recommended) and solid cast Yale handles, making them one of the safest options available.
