Project Showcase - Track Record

Here are some of the projects we have been involved with in recent years. Bitulog Bitumen Storage Facility Libreville Gabon, 2011 - 2012 By now, Paneltech have become old hands at installing fast track storage facilities using the TEC Bitutainer system. Again, we provided the structural steelwork, pump skids and control system and then installed the facility in 8 weeks on site! This project included the first Bitumen Ship to Shore discharge unit Supplied by TEC and designed and manufactured by Paneltech. This is a first in its type with new levels of control and safety when discharging bulk bitumen ships directly into road tankers or Bitutainers. Also installed on site was an above ground Weigh Bridge with containerised control room/office. Orchidwood Mushrooms Vertical Conveyor Beckley East Sussex, 2011 Paneltech have had a close working relationship with Orchidwood for a number of years and were very happy to work on the alterations to their building to accommodate their new mushroom processing plant. Paneltech provided the design from structural engineers specifications, fabricated the additional structure and provided on site project and engineering management. Angobetumes Bitumen Storage Facility Malange Angola, 2008 – 2011 This project was ‘challenging’ to say the least. Originally the brief was to provide two small bitumen storage facilities which after delivery of all equipment to the site became one larger facility. Paneltech provided all structural steel work, pump skids, containerised control room, control system, site mechanical and electrical engineering support and full project management. We had staff in Angola for 4 months over the entire period with the project finally completed in early 2011. Weatherford SPS Compressor System Almeria Spain, 2008 This was the first project after the introduction of our fabrication facility. The project was to provide a diesel fuel bulk storage facility to feed, what was at the time, the largest air compressor system in the world. Paneltech provided pipework, structural steelwork, pump skids and access equipment for the site, all manufactured in the UK and road hauled to Spain. We manufactured the containerised control room and the containerised fire pump plant room for the storage facility. We also designed and installed the entire control system and provided project management support. This was the second large project we had worked with TEC Projects. Woqod Bitumen Terminal Mesaieed Qatar, 2005 - 2007 Paneltech worked in collaboration with TEC Projects on this first ever fast track storage facility using 40’ Bitutainers, supplied by TEC. Our role was to design, manufacture and install the entire control system for the facility, to design the electrical installation and to provide project management support. Keenland Race Track Lexington Kentucky, 2003 - 2004 Following the introduction of Polytrack all-weather surfaces to the Keenland horse racing complex, Paneltech designed and installed the production facility on site. This included Project supervision and engineering support. During this period, several other sites were installed with similar equipment throughout the USA.
