SIG branch raises £10,000 for charity

Employees at SIG Insulations Leeds have raised a grand total of £10,000 after taking part in a number of fundraising activities over the past year. Branch Director, Stuart Thorpe, said: “It is a fabulous achievement raising £10,000. After the first fundraising event we decided to keep going with our efforts. I must admit when I added up the final figure I was quite surprised myself.” Employees have taken part in a range of events and activities to reach the impressive target, including head shaving, Octobeard, dress down days, sponsored runs and walks. Funds have been donated to a variety of charities including Leeds Children’s Hospital, Cancer Research UK, Dementia, and the British Heart Foundation.
