Stuart Canvas Ltd has over 45 years’ experience in manufacturing covers out of a variety of materials. The company specialises in the manufacture and design of ready-made and bespoke covers for a range of different sectors including; sports, defence, construction, supply chain, transport, leisure and domestic settings.
The company also has a contracting arm which designs and installs Cricket Non-Turf training facilities and match pitches all over the UK.
Stuart Canvas has approximately 60,000sqft of purpose-built manufacturing facilities across 3 sites based in Warrington, Sheffield and St Helens. As the industry has grown so has Stuart Canvas, we have invested heavily in new machines and technology. This allows us to design and manufacture nearly all types of covers.
The company owns the established brands JMS cricket, A&J Bennett and Mudfords. These companies bring not only experience but increased capacity and diversity to the group. Which allows us to offer more products to existing customers with the quality and service that has built Stuart Canvas’s reputation for the past 45 years.
Mudfords Ltd was founded in 1832 and has a wealth of experience in producing tarpaulins, sandbags, hessian and bespoke covers. The company is one of the leading suppliers to the construction and haulage industries in the UK.
A & J Bennet is the leading manufacturer side tension curtains, ratchets and strap to the haulage sector in the North West of the UK.
Stuart Canvas prides itself in the ability to be able to solve problems that clients have and design solutions that address these problems. We also offer a CAD drawing service for our products, a service we offer in-house if the design of your product requires it.
Stuart Canvas works with many blue chip companies from around the country and exports to over 25 countries. We love a challenge and no job is too big or too small.
