I recently project managed a kitchen extension for the catering operation of an award winning visitor attraction. The client also runs a busy banqueting and function business on the premises which had outgrown its original catering facilities. The project had its challenges; not only did the new building have to be raised 1.3m but it also couldn’t be attached to the listed building. Jacksons buildings are of excellent quality and offer exceptional value for money, however my overriding reasons for choosing Jacksons as a partner on this project were the ‘can do’ attitude, (nothing was too much trouble or seemed to phase them), and the personal service that I received from Tom and Annie. They also used their considerable knowledge and contacts to help solve some of problems that are intrinsic in a project of this type. It is a very important consideration for me when choosing suppliers that they will still be supportive to my clients when the project is completed and I’ve moved on to the next one. I’m pleased to report that this has been the case with Jacksons. There haven’t been any major issues with the buildings but when requested they have attended to some small niggles immediately. Unfortunately there are companies out there that promise the earth to get the business then completely abdicate any responsibility for their product once their invoice has been paid. Jacksons isn’t one of those companies. My client is happy and I am happy. I would have no hesitation in using Tom and Annie again or giving my wholehearted recommendation to anyone thinking of using them. S.Halford, catering consultant.
