Trace Heating

Thermal Clad offers a Trace Heating service to pipework and vessels. We are at present working with our clients on new build projects installing Trace Heating and Insulation to chilled pipework and heating pipework on external plant areas, which require frost protection. We also supply and install Trace Heating to many other applications including the maintenance of hot water supply, and to vessels for temperature maintenance. The term “Trace Heating” describes the application of heat to the surfaces of pipelines, tanks, vessels and similar items, whether continuously or intermittently, to raise and/or regulate temperature around and inside those items.
The term “Surface Heating” is also sometimes used.
