Vegetation and Habitat Surveys

We undertake standard botanical and vegetation surveys for habitats including: woodland and grassland, heathland, fen and mire. This includes National Vegetation Classification (NVC), that is the standard technique for sampling and classifying plant communities in Britain. We also undertake surveys for aquatic plants: macrophytes. using standard aquatic macrophyte survey techniques such as the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) method, the Mean Trophic Rank method and the LEAFPACS method.
