Cleaning & Maintenance

We have designed our frameless systems for minimal maintenance, although with any aluminium product it will need a level of cleaning. With this in mind we have put together a guideline to help you maintain our balustrade systems. In areas where the aluminium is in the direct influence of: salt water, industrial chemical plants, blast furnaces or other aggressive emission sources the aluminium should be cleaned at least every three months. In a relatively cleaner environment every six months, even in interior locations to limit discoloration through grime, smoke and other deposits aluminium should be cleaned at least every year.
