The NICEIC Approved Contractor scheme is for electrical contractors undertaking design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installation to BS 7671. Will Guy Electrical has been assessed against a specific set of competency requirements, in particular the national electrical safety standard BS 7671 the IEE Wiring Regulations. Membership of the scheme demonstrates our competence to perform electrical installation in accordance with BS 7671. The SAFEcontractor scheme is designed to review and audit the health and safety policies, procedures and documentation of contractors. Qualified auditors conduct audits that identify whether there is suitable and sufficient health and safety compliance within a business. The scheme reduces the need to submit multiple health and safety pre-qualification questionnaires to clients. Constructionline – As a business enjoying a large part of it’s work within the public sector, Will Guy Electrical have sought approval under the Constructionline scheme which tests the companies policies and procedures in respect of H&S, environmental management, human resources etc SMAS – In line with Health & Safety legislation and Industry best practice, many clients will only use contractors and consultants selected from an approved database who have demonstrated the appropriate level of competence in their Health & Safety management systems. Will Guy Electrical Limited are verified and qualify for a SMAS Worksafe Certificate. We were required to produce evidence of our Health & Safety management systems, which were found to meet the requirements set out in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 and successfully demonstrated our Core Stage 1 H&S competence.
