Safe-R Phenolic achieves an A+ rating under the BRE Green Guide.

The Safe-R phenolic product range, produced at our Chesterfield manufacturing facility, has achieved A+ BRE Green Guide 2008 Summary Ratings. This makes it our second product range to achieve the A+ rating, as our PIR product range Thin-R also achieved the A+ BRE Green Guide Summary Rating. The accredited rating is part of the BREEAM environmental rating scheme for buildings, which examines the relative environmental impacts of used construction materials, based on Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), using BRE’s Environmental Profiles Methodology 2008. These scores make it possible for the specifiers to select specifications on the basis of personal or organisational preferences or priorities, or take decisions based on the performance of a material against a particular environmental impact. This will allow you to view and download the Certificate of Approval / Environmental Profiles.
