Bison Manufacturing secures new retirement village contract

20-01-2014

Bison Manufacturing’s market-leading precast concrete products have been chosen for installation at the new £40million Lynwood Retirement Village in Sunninghill, Berkshire. Working for main contractor Willmott Dixon, Bison will deliver 6,000m2 Hollowcore flooring units and 41 flights of precast staircases, manufactured at its Swadlincote facility for installation across the 20 acre development. The state-of-the-art site will feature 174 luxury retirement apartments and cottages together with a 93-bed residential care centre and several different amenities – all carefully planned to create a village atmosphere. Prince Michael of Kent recently laid the foundation stone for the new BEN Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund owned retirement village, which will replace the existing care centre on Rise Road.
