Bison Manufacturing tackles prestigious rugby stadium project

20-01-2014

Bison Manufacturing has scored another major victory after its market leading pre-cast concrete products were specified for a new £20-million stadium development in Copthall, North London. The 10,000 seater stadium, transformed by contractor the Eric Wright Group, includes a contemporary artificial playing pitch, making Saracens the first professional rugby union club in the world to play on entirely artificial turf. Over 200 L shaped terrace units, 46 terrace blocks and 154 step blocks and 16 stairflights were specified as part of the project at Allianz Park, the new home of Aviva Premiership rugby side Saracens. The order follows a string of successful stadia projects undertaken by Bison, including Rotherham FC’s new stadium, Wembley and Newport Gwent Dragons.
