Dawnus Begins Work at Drakelands Mine

Dawnus has begun work on a £1.7 million contract to supply and install concrete structures for the first new metal mine in the UK for 45 years.
Dawnus has been awarded the contract to construct all the concrete structures to support the new crushing and processing plant and other operational buildings at the Drakelands tungsten and tin mine at Hemerdon, near Plymouth in Devon.
Drakelands Mine is scheduled to become operational in mid-2015, and will make a significant contribution to the local economy, with annual production of 5,000 tonnes of tungsten concentrate.
