Filon in the spotlight at RCI 2014

The Filon stand at the RCI show at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena in October, was a busy place to be! Over the two days of the show, Filon welcomed hundreds of visitors and received enquiries for a wide range of projects, from rooflight refurbishment to specialist cladding for harsh industrial environments. Business Development Manager Mark Wilcox said “Our Fixsafe system in particular, drew a lot of attention at the show. Safety for construction workers – and particularly those accessing roofs – is right at the top of the agenda for our industry, so I’m not surprised there was so much interest in Fixsafe. However, it’s gratifying to see that the hard work of our Fixsafe development team over the last few years is now really starting to make a difference. As more companies realise the benefits, more lives will be saved by removing the need to access fragile roof surfaces.” In addition to Fixsafe, the company’s complete range of GRP rooflights, roof sheets and cladding products was represented on the stand. Filon is among the world’s leading manufacturers of GRP products for construction, with a range comprising over 900 different profiles, covering applications on commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings.
