Epoxy System for Ambulance Station

13-05-2019

First Solution, together with our installer, L & S Finishes, has recently completed a project for South Central Ambulance Service for a newly refurbished ambulance station on the south coast. An epoxy coating system, incorporating a slip resistant aggregate was used to complete this project. The main floor area was completed in light grey with dark grey for vehicle bays. White lines were used to de-lineate the areas with arrows to mark a one way traffic flow through the building. Walkways were completed in blue. This project took 6 days to complete. A couple of photographs, showing before and after shots are below. This is just the latest in a number of projects for the emergency services. We have done other projects for the ambulance service and also many for the fire service, generally for floors to the appliance bays or in vehicle workshops. For the appliance bay floors we have generally used a polyurethane screed system, although occasionally have used epoxies or even MMA systems to cater for individual project requirements. Should you have any particular requirements for a project that you are planning to undertake and require advice please don’t hesitate to contact us.
