16-07-2014

Employees from Howarth Timber, the UK’s largest independently owned timber merchant, have recently completed the 24-mile Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, raising over £2000 for its partner charity Caudwell Children. Group finance director Jason Sinclair and David Parton from the Oldham branch were joined by Adam Leverton of Leeds Plywood and Doors, as well as other keen runners to raise valuable funds. The group completed the challenge in an average of five hours, tackling some very rough terrain in the process. Howarth Timber has an on ongoing partnership with Caudwell Children, which provides family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK.
