Lamtek Reduces Carbon Footprint

Lamtek are pleased to announce a major Green Investment with the purchase of a new Talbot 600Kw Biomass Boiler. The £200,000 investment will see the company replacing their existing 300Kw Warm Air Boiler and replacing it with a new 600Kw hot water boiler system, along with a new High Capacity storage bunker and flue system. The new equipment is designed to virtually eliminate the need of landfill for the wood waste and provide heat and hot water for all the companies’ factories. This new facility which should be operational by the end of April 2013 will replace 308 tonnes of carbon each year by replacing 1,684,899 Kw/Hr of gas, a major contributor to climate change.
