What is melamine?

Melamine is a resin that is used for all kind of kitchens and bedrooms furniture such as kitchenware, floor titles, white board, and kitchen and bedroom carcasses etc. Melamine is an organic compound that is usually combined with formaldehyde to produce a melamine resin which is fire resistant and heat tolerant. This resin is durable, long lasting, very easy to clean and very consistent in thickness, cost effective and safe to use. Most Lamtek carcasses have melamine facing.
