LOCK REPLACEMENT FOR HALFORDS IN CAMBORNE

Halfords in Camborne recently had a long term fault with their front door locks which finally required fixing. They had called in a couple of other companies to sort the problems out but for some reason or another none of them had managed to find them a solution. It was left to Owl Locksmiths to get the job done. We found that both the lock case and the cylinders were faulty and needed to be changed. The lock replacement parts needed to be ordered as although all the parts are generally stock items, the ones required had to be higher security than our usual range and thus were a slightly different size. We also found that the door itself was in very bad condition, to be honest, the whole unit could have done with being changed, but as it did work and was solid enough that was not going to be an option. The door was bent and slightly twisted and had definitely seen better days. One of the fixing points for the lock case was missing and the other was in such poor condition we were unsure if the job would actually work once we were finished.
