Additional floor space

An interiors fit out contractor was tasked with providing additional office space for a fast growing supplier of uniforms for emergency service personnel. The existing ground floor offices had a large area of headroom above a non load bearing ceiling. With our expertise in installing structures in challenging conditions Alba came up with a sensible proposal to create the structure required for the interiors company to then fit out the upper level offices. The existing offices are the hub of the customers operation and could not have any disruption during the week, Alba came in over a weekend with double shifts to erect the structure over the existing offices so that when the interiors company came back to site on the Monday they had solid structure to work from and the customer had no disruption to their ground floor area. The pictures show the progress made over the weekend from the initial main steel goalposts being sited through to the mezzanine level decked complete with staircases. Alba can provide mezzanine floors for Storage, office, retail, and work environments including plant access platforms and walkways. We also provide steelwork to support ceilings and M&E services.
